Producer Scott Rudin has purchased the rights to the upcoming biography “Cleopatra: A Life” by Stacy Schiff.
It is rumored that he may be looking at Angelina Jolie to play the leading role as the last of the Egyptian Pharoahs.
The story of Cleopatra has had a long history in Hollywood, including the most famous movie in 1963 with Elizabeth Taylor in the title role with Richard Burton playing Mark Anthony.
